Meinhardt Singapore’s residential project Creek Marina could not be completed even after 13 years and the innocent people who have booked apartments in the project are stranded as their billions of rupees have become expendable.
According to the details, a company called Meinhardt Singapore had announced the launch of a world-class housing project called Creek Marina in DHA Phase-VIII 13 years ago fetching billions of rupees. However, the project has not been completed till date.
According to sources, due to extensive delay in completion of project billions of rupees of over 250 innocent bookers have become redundant. The project was put on hold due allegations that the builder was siphoning money off from the project and various other instances of fraud as well as non-approval of the layout and building plan and also non-receipt of EIA report from the Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA). A case of fraud and cheque bounce has also been registered against Meinhardt Chairman Shehzad Naseem among many other persons connected to the project.
Meanwhile during a sales event held on Sunday, when a female client worried about the sinking of her friends and family capital asked a question the management hushed her up and kicked her out of the office. Talking to media outside the office, the woman said that her friend had bought a flat worth Rs 4.5 Crore in the Creek Marina project which she has not delivered till date. Meanwhile, his father also passed away in the hope of this flat. The late man kept begging the project management either deliver him the booked flat, return the paid money or allow him to sell it out but denied everything and project management did not give him any relief. According to sources, police had also raided the Creek Marina project site in recent days.
