In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi Jammu and Kashmir, Abdul Samad Inqilabi has said that the dream of lasting peace and security in South Asia cannot be realized without resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute.
Abdul Samad Inqilabi in a statement issued from Bandipora jail said that most of the sacrifices for freedom in history have been made by the Muslims of Kashmir and Palestine.
He said that India’s provocative actions could lead to a catastrophic war in the region at any time, the flames of which could engulf the entire world.
Abdul Samad Inqalabi said despite enduring all kinds of atrocities, the Kashmiri people have not given up their demand for right to self-determination.
He deplored the silence of the United Nations and the international community on Indian atrocities against unarmed Kashmiris.—KMS
