‘7 Bullets in Noor’s Chest, 9 in Ehsan’s’: Autopsy reveals after Balochistan ‘Honour Killing’

7 Bullets In Noors Chest 9 In Ehsans Autopsy Reveals After Balochistan Honour Killing

QUETTA – The horrifying case of Balochistan honor killing sparked wave of criticism and prompted strong reaction, and now the autopsy report has revealed harrowing details.

The autopsy of Noor and Ehsanullah revealed a grisly and calculated execution. The decomposed bodies of duo were exhumed and examined by Dr. Ayesha Faiz, the Police Surgeon at Quetta’s Civil Hospital.

The woman was mercilessly shot seven times. Her arm bore the haunting inscription of the name “Noor Bano Bibi,” tying her identity to the Satakzai tribe. Even more brutal was the fate of Ehsanullah, a man in his mid-30s, who was riddled with nine bullets, all aimed at his chest and abdomen in what appears to have been an execution-style killing.

The couple was murdered in early June for marrying against their families’ wishes, and their story ended up with orders of tribal eleders. Their bodies were hidden away in separate graveyards. Noor Bano was found in the Degari Qadir Bakhsh Coal Mines Graveyard, and Ehsanullah in Sanjdi.

As public outrage grows, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and ordered a full-scale investigation and justice for the slain couple. In a call to Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, the PM ordered a swift crackdown on those responsible, declaring, “No one is above the law. These acts of cruelty will not be tolerated in a civilized society.”
