15 targeted killings happened this year: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, Dr.Syed Kaleem Imam, on Wednesday said that 509 targeted killings and 61 terror incidents occurred in 2013, however, only 15 targeted killings and no terror incident took place in the current year.
Talking to industrialists during his visit to the Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), he said that Sindh Police had worked very hard in the last few years for the maintenance of law and order in the province particularly in megalopolis, according to a statement.
The Police Chief said that the terrorists involved in an attack on Chinese Consulate and other such terrorism incidents were arrested.—APP
