Indian High Commissioner Ajay Biseria and First Secretary Chera King called on Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar. Governor Punjab said that we want friendly relationships with all the neighbors including India. To better the bilateral relationship between India and Pakistan, we need to find a sustainable solution of Kashmir Issue and it has to be done on priority bases.
He welcomed the progress between India and Pakistan over Kartarpur corridor. On 31st August International Sikh convention will be organized in Governor House and Sikhs from around the globe will attend. Terrorism has no religion and to eradicate terrorism every country will have to contribute their effort.
On Wednesday, High Commissioner India visited Governor House and met with Governor Punjab to discuss Bilateral Relationship between India and Pakistan, Kashmir issue and Kartarpur corridor.
Governor Punjab while expressing his views said that only dialogues can help reach a conclusion and war is not a solution to any problem in this world, Pakistan like always wants to settle things through dialogues and for India also has to depict their interest into peace talks. It is the need of the hour that we solve this long prolonged issue of Kashmir and fight together against poverty and terrorism which would lead the Indo-Pak region towards sustainable peace and prosperity, he added.
High Commissioner Ajay Biseria assured that India is working with seriousness over the inauguration of Kartarpur project in November and for this purpose, the development work of terminal in India is undergoing with pace.
