Water channels to boost agri sector

The Chief Secretary Azad Jammu and Kashmir Mathar Niaz Rana on Friday visited Miradaadu Ghari Dupata and inspected work on ongoing water channels. On this occasion, he directed the concerned officials to prepare 15 days agricultural packages for Miradaadu and adjoining villages. The Chief Secretary also directed repairing all water channels in the area, which after functioning would benefit 6000 kanal agricultural lands. The step would help harvesting more crops and boost agricultural activities in the area. It is worth mentioning here that under National Program for Repair.
