Two-day Hyderabad Literature Festival begins


The eighth edition of two-day Hyderabad Literature Festival (HLF) has begun at Sindh Museum on Sunday. The festival was inaugurated by Culture and Tourism Director General (DG) Munawar Ali Mahesar.

Famous writers, intellectuals, and poets from across Sindh attended the festival. They shed light on the ancient culture and history of Sindh. Some international scholars also attended the festival.

On the first day of the colourful event, children performed tableaux on national songs while local artistes entertained the participants with Sufi poetry. The festival also featured the exhibition of various books on history, science, literature and classical music.

Moreover, it also showcased the products made by skilled women from underprivileged areas which enthralled the participants.—INP
