SU holds lectures on ‘Mental Health, Pink Ribbon’


The Sargodha University (SU) Department of Psychology and Couseling Centre featured a series of lectures on the theme of “Mental Health in an Unequal World” and “Pink Ribbon Youth Awareness Program” to commemorate Mental Health Day 2021.

Veteran psychologists and professionals including Prof Dr Ali Zulqurnain Head Department of Psychiatry & Behavioural Sciences Niazi Medical & Dental College Sargodha, Prof Dr Ali Sajid Director & Dr Rafiq Dar Associate Professor Lahore School of Professional Studies (LIPS) University of Lahore, Dr Gullnaz Zahid Head of the Department of Behavioral Sciences NUST Islamabad, Dr Aneela Masood Head Department of Behavioral Sciences, Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi, Dr. Khawaja Muhammad Arshad Associate Professor Paediatric Department SMC Sargodha, Dr Rubina Asghar Consultant Gynaecologist Faiz Memorial Teaching Hospital Sargodha, Ms. Farah Amanat Senior Clinical Psychologist ASD Welfare Trust Lahore, and Dr. Najma Iqbal Chairperson Department of Psychology & In-charge Counseling Centre University of Sargodha, delivered lectures to ensure mental well-being.

Online panellists emphasized upon promoting mental health in academic institutes and the role of the educator to raise awareness among young future professionals.
