Students real assets to country: Mohal

Jhang Deputy Commissioner Fayyaz Ahmed Mohal has stressed that students are the real assets to the nation who need to exhibit their talents and pay special attention to creative activities to make a purpose in their life.

“The students awe to this country and they will have to pay back their debt in shape of sharing happiness with others and providing them relief.”

The DC said that students can overcome their shortcomings if they are determined to overcome their hesitation and then strive for it.

He expressed these views while addressing a seminar titled: “Epidemic Awareness and Safe Living” organized by College of Arts and Science, University of Jhang (UoJ) here.

UoJ Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Munir, Mehr Sultan Sikandar Bharwana and others were present on the occasion.

A large number of teachers and students were also present. DC Fayyaz Mohal said that those who have knowledge and those who are unfamiliar with it cannot be equal, adding that there is no dearth of abilities in our students.

“Set a goal for real success in life and work hard to achieve it”, he urged the students, adding that creative activities are recognized all over the world to explore talent of students.

“Our students also need to pay full attention to this and this will be possible only when we devote our energies to research.

The world is in turmoil, concerns about the corona vaccine should be allayed; only experts can better tell about the harms of the vaccine”, he added.

The DC said that misunderstandings and rumors about the vaccine should be removed, asking every citizen to implement Corona SOPs in letter and spirit.

In his address, VC Dr Shahid Munir said that knowledge based economy is the need of the hour in the world.

“Only when our scholars pay special attention to research, then we will be able curve a place for ourselves in the comity of nations”, he emphassied.

Later, DC Fayyaz Ahmad Mohal visited various stalls and appreciated the products and garments prepared by students of the College of Art and Science of the University of Jhang on textile designing.
