Six soldiers martyred, ten terrorists killed in KP operations

Twelve Indian Sponsored Terrorists Eliminated Two Pak Army Troops Martyred In Security Operations

RAWALPINDI – Six soldiers were martyred and ten Indian-sponsored terrorist were killed in multiple engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the engagements took place from 15-17 September 2026.

On reported presence of terrorists, an intelligence based operation was conducted by security forces in North Waziristan. During conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged their location and after intense exchange of fire, six terrorists belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij were killed.

In another encounter that took place in Hangu District, own troops successfully neutralized four more militants.

On 17 September 26, an improvised explosive device exploded on security forces convoy, resultantly, six brave sons of soil, rendered the ultimate sacrifice and embraced martyrdom.

Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from killed Indian sponsored khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area.

ISPR said relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

“These sacrifices of our brave soldiers further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation at all costs.”
