Six dead in road mishaps


At least six people died in separate road accidents in different of the metropolis on Tuesday, police said.
An over speeding trailer ran over a motorcycle carrying two people at Super Highway near Kathore Link Road Bridge resultantly both persons died on the spot.
Two people identified as Mamoon 45, s/o Anwar and Babar 35, s/o Bano died when two suzuki pickups collided at Ghagar Phatak near Attock petrol pump.
At Baloch Colony Railway crossing, speedy train crushed to death a man identified as Dabar Jan. A 22-year-old youth Noman Khan s/o Wazir Khan died in hit and run accident near Karimabad Bridge in Liaqatabad area of Azizabad.
The bodies of all incidents were shifted to different hospitals of respective areas for postmortem and the police after registering separate cases at concerned police stations started investigation.—INP
