Sindh Unveils Big Screen Venues For Fifa World Cup Semis Final

Sindh has announced to show the FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-finals and final on giant screens at multiple venues across the province.

The World Cup semi-final lineup has been confirmed, with France, Spain, England and Argentina advancing to the last four.

Sindh Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mahar said that in Karachi’s Malir district, the semi-final matches will be shown on July 15 and 16, while the final will be screened on July 20 at the Youth Development Centre in Sharafi Goth.

He added that fans in Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas will also be able to watch the semi-finals and final on large outdoor screens.

According to the minister, Sukkur’s Municipal Stadium will host screenings of both semi-finals and the final, while Rohri Football Ground will exclusively screen the championship match.

In Ghotki, all three matches will be broadcast at the district sports complex, whereas Thatta Sports Complex will host a public screening of the final only.

Mahar said the initiative reflects the provincial government’s commitment to encouraging sports participation and healthy recreational activities among young people.

He added that providing public access to major international sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup would help promote football, inspire youth and strengthen the sport’s culture across Sindh.
