ISLAMABAD – Sindh government declared December 26 public holiday for the Christian community, in addition to December 25, making this festive season extra special.
According to notification issued by the Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department, all government, autonomous, and semi-government institutions, corporations, and local councils under Sindh’s administration will observe the holiday. However, personnel associated with essential services will not be included.
December Holidays
December 25 will remains a public holiday to mark Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas, applying to all government and semi-government institutions, as well as corporations and local councils operating under the Sindh Government.
National and religious significance of the dates are celebrated with full recognition in Pakistan, giving citizens time to honor the historic and spiritual occasions.
