Seven anti-social elements rounded up



Rawalpindi District Police, in their ongoing operations against lawbreakers, conducted raids in different areas and rounded up seven drug peddlers, bootleggers, illegal weapon holders and other criminals besides seizing over three kg charras, 100 wheat flour bags and other items from their possession.

According to a police spokesman, Waris Khan police arrested an accused namely Faizan allegedly involved in kite flying, aerial firing and uploading video on social media and recovered kites, string rolls and pistol with ammunition.

Kalar Syedan police held Shakeel for having 1680 grams charras. City police rounded up Albert Masih with 300 grams charras and Rattaamral police netted Faizan for possessing 490 grams charras.

Wah Cantt police arrested Sajid on recovery of 360 grams charras while Jatli police nabbed Wajahat for carrying 450 grams charras.

He informed that Taxila police in their ongoing operation against wheat smugglers managed to net an accused namely Nasir and recovered 100 wheat flour bags from his possession. The spokesman informed that separate cases have been registered against the accused while further investigations are under process.
