ISLAMABAD – Director General Inter Services Public Relations Directorate Lieutenant DG ISPR General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry did not hold back. During presser, he challenged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, calling on him to send his sons to the frontline and confront the militants the military calls Khawarij.
With emotions running high, Pak Army spokesperson lamentted PTI leader for keeping his children abroad while Pakistani soldiers risk their lives every day in the fight against terrorism. The message was clear: words are easy, courage is tested on the battlefield.
Chaudhry challenged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, urging him to send his sons to join the Pakistan Army and confront the militants the military labeled as “Khawarij.”
He attacked Imran Khan for keeping his children abroad while questioning the country’s soldiers to face danger. “You have kept your sons abroad. Make them stand before the Khawarij. Send your children to the army,” he demanded, challenging the PTI leader directly.
ISPR chief warned about growing narrative of hatred against Pakistan’s armed forces, stressing that the soldiers risk their lives on the battlefield every day. “Who stands in front of the Khawarij? Who sacrifices their lives? We are the ones who have to give and take lives,” he stated, emphasizing the ultimate responsibility and sacrifices of the military.
