The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has published its financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2026, along with the accompanying auditors’ report, on its official website.
The central bank said the financial statements and auditors’ report had also been submitted to the Federal Government and the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) in accordance with Section 40(3) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956.
According to the statements, the SBP recorded a net profit of Rs1.99 trillion during the financial year.
After accounting for statutory and other required appropriations under the applicable accounting framework, the bank’s surplus profit stood at Rs1.932 trillion.
The entire surplus was transferred to the Federal Government, the SBP said.
