RIYADH – Saudi royal family announced passing of Princess Wafa bint Bandar bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The royal court, in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency, confirmed her death and expressed prayers for mercy and forgiveness for the late princess.
The funeral prayer for Princess Wafa was held at the Masjid al-Haram after Maghrib prayers. The pryaers were attended by members of the royal family, senior officials, and citizens, all mourning the loss of a beloved member of the royal household.
The royal court also prayed for her elevated rank in the afterlife and offered solace and patience to her grieving family.
This loss follows recent bereavements within the royal family, including Princess Nouf bint Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in August 2024 and Princess Sultana bint Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in July last year, marking a particularly sorrowful period for the kingdom.
