Pakistan Railways (PR) Chairman Syed Mazhar Ali Shah has stopped officers of Lahore Railway Headquarters from using air-conditioners.
Sources said that air-conditioners installed in the offices of the CEO, chief officers and deputy chief officers have been shut down after the orders of Railways chairman.
The sources further said that after the switching off of the air-conditioners, officers compelled to work sitting in the closed rooms of the Railways headquarters amid summer heat.
On the other hand, officers using Ministry of Railways Offices and Divisional Offices are getting benefit from the facility of air-conditioners, the sources revealed.
