Punjab registers 72,640 students for petrol, e-bikes

LAHORE – Punjab government has received 72,640 applications from students through Chief Minister’s Youth Initiative Bikes Portal, developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).

Out of 72,640 applications, 57,366 are for petrol motorcycles and 15,274 for e-bikes. Initially, the last date of registration was April 29, 2024. However, the deadline was extended till May 1, 2024 to accommodate more applicants due to the overwhelming response.

Latest update on Punjab CM Bike Scheme 2024

Punjab government is providing 20,000 motorcycles on installments to the students. It will contribute in down payment and offer bikes on an easy monthly installment plan.

PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated that the portal helped students in applying online for bikes.
