Punjab Launches Free Mobile Charging Service In Lahore

LAHORE – Punjab Safe Cities Authority has launched a significant initiative in Lahore, providing an emergency-free mobile phone charging service at key locations.

The initiative has been launched in line with the directives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

The service, available at select spots, will offer four essential facilities: a panic button, free Wi-Fi, and mobile phone charging points, all aimed at improving public safety and convenience.

As part of the effort to further strengthen safety measures, safety zones in the city will be made more effective with the addition of emergency-free mobile phone charging facilities.

A spokesperson for the Safe Cities Authority stated that the project plans to install these charging stations at 100 locations across Lahore.

Currently, 30 locations have already been equipped with the service, and the public has started to take advantage of this valuable facility.
