Punjab govt committed to eliminate illiteracy

Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad, Rana Saleem Ahmad Khan has said that the Punjab government committed to eliminate illiteracy from the province and taking all possible measurers in this regards.

He was addressing a ceremony held at district complex Hafizabad in connection with observing International Literacy Day, on Wednesday.

Chief Executive Officer Education, Javed Iqbal Babar, Deputy Director Social Welfare, Tasleem Zahara, teachers and students of non-formal schools attended the ceremony.

DC said that no nation could achieve goal of progress and prosperity without promoting education and modern technology.
