Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded fees from intending candidates of the party for the national and provincial assemblies. The party has fixed Rs. two lac fees for the forms for MNA seat and one lac for the seat of the provincial legislature, sources said.

PTI’s Sindh election cell’s head Firdous Shamim Naqvi has opposed the decision and argued that this huge fee for the PTI party ticket form will discourage poor party workers to seek the party candidacy.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)  had invited applications for the PTI ticket on March 05 but only 60 candidates have submitted their forms so far, according to sources.

After March 30 deadlines, the date were extended to April 20, sources said. “The deadline to submit applications for the PTI ticket is expected to further extend till April 30”, party sources added.
