The Deputy Convener of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Abdul Waseem said our party’s local leaders and workers would defeat the Pakistan Peoples Party in the upcoming general elections for not only de-stroying Sindhs urban centres but also the rural parts of the province.

Talking to the party’s Hyderabad chapter office-bearers here, Waseem alleged that the PPP stuck to power for 15 years in Sindh not because of the popular support but thanks to the backing of the feudal political system.

The Deputy Convener reiterated that the PPP bagged the seat of Mayor Hyderabad by gerrymandering the local gov-ernment constituencies and owing to the boycott of the LG elections last year by the MQM-P.

The MQM-Ps leader Kaiful Wara asked the party’s workers to give a historic defeat to the PPP on February 8 with the power of their votes.
