PM, COAS discuss country’s security

Prime Minister Imran Khan met Chief of Army Staff General (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday and discussed the overall security situation of the country during a high level meeting in Islamabad.
Inter Services Intelligence DG Lt Gen Faiz Hamid and Inter Services Public Relations DG Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor were also part of the meeting held at the Prime Minister Office.
Earlier, PM Imran also called President Arif Alvi to brief him on his recent visit to United States of America.
The president praised the prime minister and called the visit pivotal for conveying Pakistan’s narrative on regional and international issues of importance.
President Alvi also said that these high-level visits will hopefully strengthen relations between America and Pakistan.
