A suspected robber was beaten to death by a mob within the limits of the Site Super Highway Industrial Area police station. According to police, the bandit was killed after a mob in the Faqira Goth area caught and beat him up during a robbery bid. Three of his accomplices, however, managed to escape the scene.
SHO Aurangzeb Khattak explained that four armed robbers entered the house of a man, Arshad Pervaiz, who ran a shop adjacent to his house.Upon seeing the robbers, family members of the shopkeeper started to scream, prompting people in the neighbourhood to gather. As the crowd gathered, the robbers attempted to flee but one of them was caught by the people.The enraged mob severely beat up the suspect, which caused his death on the spot.
