PCG seizes hashish, liquor

Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) seized a huge quantity of Hashish, Liquor and contraband items at Naka Khari Check Post on RCD Highway near Windar (Balochistan). On the performance of ground intelligence renewed efforts against smuggling of narcotics and liquor, PCG is committed its drive against enemies of state.
On credible information from intelligence resources about the smuggling of narcotics and contraband items in general area Windar on RCD Highway, following seizures were carried out by PCG Special checking during the preceding week.
During checking at Naka Khari Check Post (Windar), PCG officials spotted a suspicious passenger coach.
On searching the coach, PCG officials recovered approx 154 Kilograms of fine quality of Hashish in the vehicle and arrested 02 drug traffickers’ alongwith Hashish, contraband items (Mix cloths, Indian Gutka, Irani Carpets, Rod Bush, Tyre of vehicles, Window AC, Wheel rim, Engine head and Vehicle engine).
During Mobile patrolling PCG official recovered 704 x bottles of foreign brands liquor at Windar city and Bisol River (Ormara).
At Naka Khari Check Post (Windar), PCG officials recovered 2200 liters Irani Diesel and 2000 liters Engine oil from different vehicles.
At Naka Khari, Super Highway and Thatta Bridge during checking, PCG official recovered 31,977 Kilograms of Betel Nuts and 562 ctns Iranin Crockery and in passenger coach 311 kilograms cloths and 94 pkts Indian gutka were recovered and 02 accused are arrested on the site.
In Gwadar, Shah Jahan check post PCG officials recovered 103 sticks brand of Cigarettes from a coach.
Approx value of Hashish, Liquor and contraband items in the international market is Rs. 383.34/- Millions. Further investigation and legal process is under way.
