RAWALPINDI – Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley, held a high-level meeting with Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, with discussions focusing on bilateral cooperation and the longstanding strategic relationship between the two countries.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review matters of mutual interest and explore avenues for expanding collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Field Marshal Asim Munir highlighted the deep and enduring bonds between the two brotherly nations, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening their longstanding strategic partnership.
CDF stressed importance of continued engagement between Islamabad and Riyadh in areas of shared interest.
AlFadley, meanwhile, appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in supporting regional peace and stability. He expressed Saudi Arabia’s desire to broaden cooperation with Pakistan, particularly in agriculture and environmental sustainability. The discussions shows broader scope of Pakistan-Saudi Arabia engagement, with both sides signalling their intent to build on existing ties and pursue greater cooperation in sectors of mutual importance.
