Pakistan has triumphed over Australia in a three-match volleyball series, securing a clean sweep victory. The final match saw Pakistan defeating Australia 3-0 in sets at the Pakistan Sports Com-plex’s Liaquat Gymnasium.

This was the first time the Australian volleyball team had played in Pakistan, adding a significant milestone to the event that was hosted in the country’s capital.

The Australian team, known as the Kangaroos, were unable to halt the winning streak of the Green Shirts. Pakistan won the third match with scores of 26-24, 25-20, and 25-20.

Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Pro-gramme, Rana Mashhood, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. He, along with Chaudhry Yaqoob, distributed the awards.

Pakistan had also won the first and second matches against Australia with straight sets victo-ries.

This series marked Australia’s first time playing volleyball in Pakistan.
