JEDDAH – Saudi Arabia has revealed the list of seven countries eligible for the new tourist visa package programme with Pakistanis are also among the first to benefit from the initiative.
The kingdom has introduced a new tourist visa package programme aimed at making travel easier for international visitors.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Tourism, the initiative is designed to simplify the visa process by combining multiple travel requirements into a single package.
What is the Saudi Tourist Visa Package?
Under the new system, travellers can purchase an approved package that includes flight tickets, hotel arrangements, and an electronic tourist visa, eliminating the need to submit a separate visa application or visit an embassy.
Eligible Countries
The programme will initially be available for citizens of seven countries, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan, and Mexico.
Authorities said that after completing payment for an approved package, travellers will receive their electronic tourist visa, travel insurance, and other required documents through email. The e-visa is expected to be issued within around 48 hours in most cases.
Visa Validity and Stay Period
The single-entry tourist visa issued under the scheme will remain valid for three months. Visitors will be allowed to stay in Saudi Arabia for a minimum of two days and up to 88 days.
Saudi Arabia Visit Visa Package
The ministry stated that the starting price for a two-day package is set at 4,000 Saudi riyals per adult, with an additional charge of 1,000 riyals for each extra day.
Tourists can also add entertainment activities, events, and other experiences to their packages by paying additional fees.
