Pak, Korea agree to deepen ties in education, art and culture

Pakistan and Korea have shown willingness to further deepen their ties through consistent engagements and working level coordination in the areas of Education, Art and Culture.

It was agreed during a meeting held Friday between the delegation of Republic of Korea led by the Ambassador Mr. Suh Sangpayo and Federal Minister for Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture Shafqat Mahmood.

Both sides exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest.
Both sides agreed to enhance the collaboration in skills sector and information technology.

Mid career officials including principals and headmasters’ short training courses through KOICA support programme also came under discussion. Some five hundred Pakistani students were studying in Korea in various programmes.

The delegation-level talk will be held between two sides to further explore the avenues of cooperation in this regard.
