OIC condemns bomb attack in Kabul during Friday prayers


The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist bombing of a mosque in Shakardara in the Afghan capital, Kabul, during Friday prayers today, second day of Eid El-Fitr, leaving in its wake many people dead and injured.

The General Secretariat expressed sincere condolences to and sympathy with the relatives of the victims and the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and wished the wounded a quick recovery.

The OIC reiterates its strong condemnation of the continued acts of terrorism and violence in Afghanistan and assures of the OIC’s support to Afghanistan in fighting all manifestations of terrorism.—PR
