Research by TOLOnews indicates that nearly 90 people were killed and around 190 others were wounded in a spate of recent deadly incidents hitting several parts of Afghanistan.
A recent incident occurred in Faizabad, capital of Badakhshan, where the head of the Department of Mines of and Petroleum, Mawlawi Abdul Fatah, was killed and three others were wounded.
“Eight suspects have been arrested in connection with this case,” said Mazuddin Ahmadi, head of the provincial department of Information and Culture.
At least 20 people were killed and 30 others were wounded in a blast in the Dasht-e-Barchi area of capital Kabul.
A blast at a training center in the Dasht-e-Barchi area of Kabul city left five people wounded.
At least 33 people were killed, and 43 others were wounded in a blast at the Sekandar mosque in Imam Sahib district of Kunduz.
30 people were killed and over 90 others were wounded in a blast in Si-Dukan mosque in Balkh province.
A blast targeting the vehicle of technical staff of the 217 corps left four people dead and 18 others injured.
One person was killed and three others were wounded in the blast in Badakhshan province.
Analysts said such incidents should be prevented.
“If such incidents are not prevented, it can create concerns among the people of Afghanistan,” said Sayed Ishaq Gailani, head of the National Solidarity Movement of Afghanistan.
The Afghan citizens are worried about the situation and called for security.
“The people of Afghanistan, particularly Kabul, are not happy about the recent blasts and attacks,” said Qais, a resident of Kabul.
The Islamic Emirate said that the perpetrators of the recent attacks will be held accountable.
“We are taking serious steps in this regard to pursue the perpetrators and punish them and to eliminate their sanctuaries,” said Bilal Karimi, deputy spokesman for the Islamic Emirate.
The attacks come after several months of lessened security incidents in Afghanistan.

Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqob said they will respond to those who were involved in the recent attacks in Afghanistan. Two explosions occurred in Kabul city’s police district 10 on Tuesday, officials confirmed.
Bilal Karimi, deputy spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, said the first explosion occurred in front of the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan hospital.
According to Karimi, the second explosion also occurred in an area close to the hospital.
Gunfire has also been heard from the blast area.
Saeed Khosti, spokesman of the Interior Ministry, said one of the explosions occurred at the entrance of the hospital.
According to Khosti, the explosions have caused casualties but so far the exact details are not known.
He said security forces have arrived at the scene.
A TOLOnews reporter at the scene said ambulances were carrying injured people to hospitals from the area.
Meanwhile, Reuters has reported that 15 people were killed and 34 others wounded in these explosions.
A security source told TOLOnews that after the explosions, five gunmen entered the hospital and clashed with Islamic Emirate forces.
According to the source, all the attackers were killed.
Islamic Emirate spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said seven people were killed in the today’s attack.—Tolonews
