In a major development, the National Assembly (NA) on Tuesday passed a bill against the corporal punishment of children. A motion was also moved in the NA to make it compulsory to teach Arabic to students of all educational institutions.
The motion was moved by National Assembly member Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali.
