A Muslim shopkeeper was beaten to death by Hindutva goons in BJP ruled Uttar Pradesh state in India. According to Kashmir Media Service, the 35-year-old Muslim shopkeeper, Wakil Ahmed, was beaten to death by the Hindutva forces while returning home after offering Taraweeh prayers in Bahraich City of the state. Videos of the gruesome incident, depicting Ahmed’s naked body with severe wounds, were posted on social media platforms.
According to police reports, the victim operated a shop and was on his way home after closing it late in the evening. A senior police official addressing the media confirmed that the body had been sent for post-mortem examination.—INP
