Marriyum lambasts Imran for suggesting martial law

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has criticized Imran Khan for hinting at the implementation of Martial law in the country.

During a press conference held in Islamabad on Tuesday, the federal information minister said the former prime minister wants ‘anarchy not elections’ and does not care about democracy.

She said that Imran Khan should explain to whom he was threatening while delivering speeches on the container during his long march toward Islamabad. Imran Khan is in favor of imposing emergency in the country, she added.

“The frustrated Imran Khan has now demanded the imposition of emergency and the martial law in the country,” he added.

Marriyum said that Imran Khan was simultaneously behaving in an aggressive and respectful way which showed that he was frustrated and in mental disarray.

“Imran Khan is a ‘foreign-funded Fitna’ who had admitted to bring revolution in the country through bloodshed. The PTI chief also admitted that he wanted the martial law and emergency in the country,” he added.

Speaking on the occasion, she warned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief that bullying will get him nowhere. “The government will not announce elections under pressure no matter what.”

Marriyum also said Imran Khan has a history of climbing on a container to create unrest in society.—NNI
