LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operations against illegal commercial use in Lahore.
On Tuesday, the LDA teams sealed 15 properties in Sabzazar Scheme for not paying commercialization fees. The sealed premises include private clinic, workshop, saloon, grocery shops and offices.
LDA Chief Town Planner-I Asad Ul Zaman supervised the operation which was carried out with the help of enforcement teams and Police. As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
