KP minister optimistic about wining next elections

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Akbar Ayub Khan Monday claimed balanced and progressive federal and provincial budgets were presented under direct supervision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan the fruits of which would soon reach at the grassroots level.

“The PTI will clean sweep the upcoming general elections on the basis of its performance”, he added while addressing a mammoth public gathering in the far-flung village Kalenger during visit of his constituency PK-40 Haripur after inaugurating Bair-Kalenger Road and some other roads projects.

The gathering was also addressed by Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Umer Ayub Khan, PTI leader Yusuf Ayub Khan, local elders Malik Khan Bahadur, Khushal Khan, Shiraz Abbasi, Aurangzeb, Kala Khan and Abdur Rashid Tanoli.

Akbar Ayub Khan maintained that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf did not believe in hollow slogans and speculations, instead, he said, his party would address all the basic issues of its people well before the next elections. He said the chapter of those who ruthlessly looted the national exchequer was closed for good.

Umer Ayub Khan in his address said the present government allocated billions of rupees of development funds for the underprivileged areas that would help provide relief to the people in a true sense.
