KP lifts ban on recruitments in Govt departments

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has lifted the ban on recruitment in the Government departments following the Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur approved the summary in this regard.

After coming into power in February 8 general elections in KP with big majority, the newly elected Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, it may be recalled, had imposed a ban on all kinds of recruitment on March 2 except those cases that were under process in the Provencal Public Services Commission.

Gandapur had initiated an investigation into the recruitments that took place during the tenure of the caretaker government in the province. Shortly after taking over the office, he had sought a comprehensive report on all recruitments carried out between March 1, 2023, and February 29, 2024.

According to a notification issued on Thursday the Chief Minister has directed the authorities concerned to lift the ban on all types of recruitments in the province and in this regard a letter has been issued to the Chief Secretary from the Chief Minister’s secretariat.
