ISLAMABAD – Security forces have apprehended the facilitator and handler behind the recent suicide bombing at the Judicial Complex in Islamabad.
Sources said law enforcement agencies acted swiftly, arresting two key suspects. The facilitator had been residing in Rawalpindi for the past month, while the handler was arrested in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. So far, five individuals have been taken into custody in connection with the attack.
They revealed that prior to the suicide bombing, both the facilitator and the suicide bomber had conducted multiple reconnaissance missions at the Judicial Complex to finalize their attack plans.
After their arrest, the suspects were transferred to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
The facilitator was captured in the Dhoke Pracha area of Rawalpindi, and it was reported that he had been conducting surveillance of key locations in Rawalpindi Cantonment. The arrest of the facilitator and handler took place within 40 hours of the bombing.
