In a police operation, District Kemari police station Shershah arrested most wanted 6-member dacoit gang.According to SHO Atiq Afridi, four days ago, the accused had looted the citizens by setting up a canal in the Shershah Paracha cemetery.
The accused were identified as 1- Sohail alias Faqir Nisar Chandio, 2- Riaz, 3- Muhammad Zaman, 4- Nazir Ahmed, 5- Shoaib Ali and 6- Wazir Ali.
Three illegal pistols, three stolen motorcycles and 12 mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the accused. The motorcycles recovered from the possession of the accused have been confiscated from Mochko and Baldia.
The leader of the aforementioned gang, Sohail alias Nisar Chandio, admitted to injuring a police constable during a police encounter in Gulshan Iqbal last month.
