JI calls for opening schools from August 15


Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman while addressing a consultative meeting of various representative organizations under Alliance of Private Schools Sindh at Noor-e-Haq and later talking to media persons said that after the Coronahas improved and ascinemas, theaters, restaurants, tourist spots and shopping malls have also been opened across the country. “All educational institutions should also be declared open from August 15.” There is no justification for keeping schools closed now if the government imposes its will on this occasion. If we try to do so, Jamaat-e-Islami will stand with the organizations of schools. Under Jamaat-e-Islami, a big convention will be held to compensate the private schools and to compensate the losses. AleemQureshi, General Secretary of Main Alliance of Private Schools (Sindh), HanifJadoon, Pervez Haroon, Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Haider Ali, Sardar Malik, ShafiqulRehmanUsmani, Intisar Ahmed Ghauri, Dr. Arshad Ali Khan, Madam Shahnaz Al Huda, AD Soomro ,Ghafoor Khan Advocate, Jahanzeb Hassan, Ghulam Mustafa Sial, Mahmood, Raja Abdul Salam and others also addressed. In the meeting, Shakir Shakur presented a resolution in which it was demanded that the federal and provincial governments should announce the opening of all educational institutions from August 15, financial support of private educational institutions should be announced, special assistance should be given to educational institutions from Corona funds. All the participants in the meeting unanimously passed the resolution. Hafiz Naeem further said that the private school owners are not begging from the government but are demanding their rights.
