IUB’s 4083 students to get scholarships




As many as 4083 students of Islamia University of Bahawalpur will be given scholarships worth Rs. 370 million in the second phase of the Prime Minister’s Pakistan Ehsas Scholarship Program.

It is worth mentioning here that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has become the top university in the country to receive Ehsas Scholarship.

The number of students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is highest in Ehsas Scholarship Program Phase II.

A total of 14000 students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur are benefiting from various scholarships including Ehsas Scholarship which is 30.43% of the total number which is a record.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob has expressed special thanks to Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Ms. Sania Nishtar for the inclusion of thousands of students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in Ehsas Scholarship Scheme.

The Vice Chancellor also congratulated the students and their parents on receiving the Ehsas Scholarship and appreciated the performance of the Directorate of Financial Assistants Dr. Ghulam Hassan Abbasi and his team in this regard.—PR
