Muggy weather is predicted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and most parts of Pakistan on Wednesday (Eid Milad-un-Nabi) and the following day.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. Weak monsoon currents are penetrating the southern half of the country.
Under these conditions, mainly hot and humid weather is predicted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most plain areas of the country on Wednesday (Eid Milad-un-Nabi) and the following day. Partly cloudy weather is expected in northern areas.
Islamabad’s daytime temperatures are expected to remain between 31°C and 33°C on Wednesday and Thursday.
Rawalpindi’s daytime temperatures are expected to remain between 30°C and 32°C on Wednesday and Thursday.
Over the past 24 hours, hot and humid weather prevailed in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most parts of Pakistan. However, Lahore and Okara received 02mm rain.
Islamabad recorded a maximum temperature of 36°C with evening humidity at 54 per cent.
Rawalpindi recorded a maximum temperature of 35°C with evening humidity at 50 per cent.
