Intermittent rains and isolated hailstorms are likely in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Monday night, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Synoptic Situation:
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over the western and upper parts of Pakistan, which will likely persist in the upper parts till March 12.
Forecast:
Under these conditions, intermittent rains and gusty winds are expected in Islamabad, Potohar region, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Monday night, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Isolated moderate to heavy falls and hailstorms are likely during the period. Dry weather is likely elsewhere in the country.

Islamabad’s minimum temperature will likely remain between 12°C and 14°C on Tuesday and between 11°C and 13°C on Wednesday.
Rawalpindi’s minimum temperature will likely remain between 15°C and 17°C on Tuesday and between 14°C and 16°C on Wednesday.

Dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours. Cold weather prevailed in the upper parts. Rains occurred at a few places in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
