Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has dismissed Washington’s assertion that Tehran intends to spend its recently unfrozen funds on purchasing agricultural goods from the United States.
Responding on X, Ghalibaf mocked the claim, saying Iran’s real “harvest” from the US has been years of deep-rooted mistrust.
America falsely claims our unfrozen assets will buy their agriculture. Interesting. The only crop we're harvesting is what you planted: decades of mistrust. It's organic, abundant, and homegrown. But apparently the US only exports GMO soybeans, broken promises and trash talks.

“Interesting. The only thing we are reaping is what America has sown over decades — distrust,” he wrote. “It’s natural, plentiful, and entirely domestic. But it seems the US only deals in GMO soybeans, empty promises, and hostile rhetoric.”
