India is witnessing a rising tide of Hindu fascism since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister of the country in 2014.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian minorities and Muslims in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are bearing the brunt of this surging Hindu fascism. Hate crimes against Muslims and other minorities have soared across India in the last nine years.
Narendra Modi, who is a member of extremist Hindu organization RSS which follows Nazi ideol-ogy, is known all over the world for Hindutva-related activities. Under Modi, the Hindutva ideol-ogy has become mainstream politics in India and the RSS-BJP combine is hell bent upon converting the country into a Hindu Rashtra.
The killer of thousands of Muslims in Gujrat, Narendra Modi is systematically advancing his Hindutva policies in IIOJK and across India. The RSS-backed BJP government in India has systematically implemented such laws that discriminate against the Muslims and other minorities.
Modi’s extremist Hindutva policies have serious implications for not only South Asia but also the whole world and the international human rights bodies must come forward to save the Indian minorities and Kashmiri Muslims from the Hindu fascism.—KMS
