IMCB H-9 holds intercollegiate English debate on ‘Social Media— A Boon or A Bane’

The Department of English Language and Literature, Islamabad Model College for Boys H-9 organised an intercollegiate English debate on the topic “ Social Media— A Boon or A Bane.”

Prof Salman Basit Rana, a renowned literary figure, author and educationist, graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

The first and the second positions were grabbed by Syed Muhammad Hassan Askari and Mansoor Afzal of Islamabad College for Boys G-6/3. Ms. Inaya Salik from Islamabad College for Girls F-6/2 bore away the third position. The contestants were given Certificates of Participation and the position holders were presented shields.

The Chief Guest recalled his memories of Govt. College Lahore and expressed his faith that such language activities are essential for the training and grooming of youth.
