IGP determined to enhance force capacity building

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that concrete steps have been ensured in the Punjab Police for infrastructure development, upgrading the training modules increasing the capacity building of the force and crime fighting.

IG Punjab said that more than 250 crores are being spent on the welfare of the force promotion structure for the next 21 years have been formulated. 20 more cities of the province have been included in Safe City project, Priority is being given to young officers in leadership development. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that driving training courses are ongoing in all the driving centers of the province, rate of issuance of driving licenses have increased thousands of citizens compared to previous years.IGP Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is running 06 schools and 06 dispensaries in Kacha area with its own resources.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that all the services of Punjab Police provided in Special Initiative and Police Service Centers are linked to QR code. IG Punjab said that every child (children of Police employees) affected by thalassemia is being given 15,000 stipend per month, Hamaray Phool project continues to help thousands of children. me is the first priority, timelines have been set for registration of FIR of each incident in police stations, the number of investigating officers has been increased, ensuring an even distribution of workload. He expressed these views while addressing the trainee ASsP who came on a study visit to the Central Police Office today.

According to the details, the trainee ASsP included in the 50th Specialized Training Program visited the Central Police Office. ASsP under training were briefed about Punjab Police working, field formations, crime prevention and public service delivery projects. IG Panjab addressed the under-training officers, discussed the ongoing measures to increase the welfare and capacity of the force. The trainee officers asked various questions about departmental affairs, they were also briefed about working of various departments of Central Police Office during visit. DIG Operations Punjab informed the under training officers about the working of various projects including Police Dashboard. At the end of the visit, commemorative souvenirs were also exchanged between IG Punjab and the head of delegation of under training ASsP.
