LAHORE – The Punjab government has launched a social protection platform, Maryam Ko Batayn, to provide immediate cash assistance to residents of the province.
Eligible people who are in emergency need of financial help of up to Rs10,000 can apply for it and get in just 48 hours.
An official said the government is implementing two-pronged policy as it is implementing projects for sustainable development on one side while implementing short-term policies to provide immediate relief to needy persons.
Where to Apply
Citizens wishing to benefit from the programme can register from home by calling the toll-free number 1000 from their mobile phones and completing the registration process with the help of a representative.
Applicants can also download the “Maryam Ko Batayn” app from the Google Play Store and submit their applications online.

Punjab Residents
Those who are not registered with any other scheme such as BISP, Ramazan Nigahban
Families with PSER Survey Score 35 or less
Process to Receive Rs10,000 Aid
The applicant will receive a pin code on registered mobile number through Jazzcash
Visit nearby Jazzcash shop
Show the pin code to receive the payment
If someone has no Jazzcash account, it can take his/her ID card to the shop to collect the amount.
