Hot, dry weather expected in most parts of country

Islamabad—Met Office Sunday forecast that hot and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country in next 24 hours. Continental air prevailed over most parts of the country, a Met Office official told APP.
In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. The Karachi Met Office forecast partly cloudy/cloudy weather in the metropolis during the next 24 hours. An official of Met Office said that the maximum temperature in Karachi is expected to remain between 31 and 33 degrees Centigrade during the period.
He said that maximum temperature recorded in the city on Sunday was 31.5 degrees Centigrade whereas the minimum was 27 degrees Centigrade. Humidity in the morning was 70 per cent whereas it was 68 per cent in the evening. Meanwhile, Multan Met office has forecast dry weather for the city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.
On Sunday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 36.2 degree centigrade and 27.2 degree centigrade, respectively. The humidity was recorded 77 per cent at 8am and 52 per cent at 5pm.
Maximum temperatures recorded on Sunday were: Bhakkar, Noorpur Thal, Sh. Benazirabad and Sukkur 41øC, Rohri and Dadu 40øC.—APP
